Now that you've decided to register, the process is very simple. Click on any of the registration links, fill in all required fields and begin!
After registering, you must complete the mandatory Travel Information and Geography modules first. Then choose another three modules that interest you most. We recommend selecting the experience modules that drive your sales.
The first two modules give you a strong foundation of Canadian knowledge, and these will take the longest, just over an hour each. The rest of the modules should take you about 30-60 minutes each, uninterrupted. If you can't complete a module in one sitting, you can start again from where you stopped. And if you don't return to your training after a few months, we'll send you a reminder. To maintain your status as a Canada Specialist, you'll need to update your online profile and complete at least one new module every 12 months.
At the end of each module, there will be a short quiz, generally ten questions each. You must achieve a passing grade of 80% on every module quiz. If you do not achieve 80% on your first try, you can retake the module quiz. Once youâve submitted your quiz answers, the system will tabulate your score.
After passing your first five modules, you will be contacted by your Destination Canada Travel Trade Manager with your certificate of achievement, and you'll begin to enjoy the benefits of a Canada Specialist.
